Audi A4 A5 2009-2015 Wireless CarPlay Android Auto Touch Screen

I previously had a crappy android head unit in my a4, and eventually decided to replace it with this linux headunit from road top. Honestly, the difference is night and day!

The unit is very fast and responsive when using wireless apple carplay. Everything feels smooth the display is crisp and the audio quality is great — much better compared to my old android head unit.

Installation was surprisingly easy. The package came with all the necessary cables and trim pieces for both facelift and pre-facelift audi a4 b8 models. It even included the ami connector and the audi head unit removal keys, which is a nice touch!

The most challenging part of the installation was replacing the screen trim, as i had to remove the original oem trim and install the one provided in the package. Other than that, the installation was straightforward.



Overall, this is a fantastic upgrade if anyone wants pure carplay/android auto, i definitely recommend it!

Great quality, hard to install but works on my audi 2g low audi concert which doesn’t have tel or bluetooth originally

This is a 2014 Audi A4 2.0 TDI Quattro. I received the product a week ago, but only installed it today.
I spent about 3 hours searching on YouTube and Google, and finally managed to complete the installation.
I installed a rear camera and used to feel frustrated when reversing, but now it's really great.
However, it seems that the settings are incorrect because the music plays on Android Auto, but the sound comes from the phone. Maybe because of the wireless connection, I haven't fully mastered it yet.

Very good display, i replaced my android with this linux one, it's much better! installation was straightforward, took about 4-5 hours. i recommend it to everyone!

Get this if you only need carplay and bluetooth. performance of the screen is not bad but not great either. it’s just ok. image is crisp and carplay/bluetooth connection is almost instant. don’t know how well it reads the back up camera since mine doesn’t have it from factory and this unit doesn’t come with it. installation was pretty straightforward but bit of modification to the cluster area trim is needed to fit the bigger screen plastic bracket which was tedious. i’m overall satisfied. this one came about 248$cad + 34$c (duty fees). still beats the android ones which are nearly twice the price of this

The sound quality is quite poor, but after adjusting the EQ it's better. All connections and wiring are in order. The wrong plastic cover that covers the radio was sent, but the seller immediately sent the correct one and it arrived a few days later. The screen quality is excellent, slightly blurry but not a big issue. I definitely recommend this seller and their radios. 10/10

With some settings configuration , especially sound ( lower media scale bar in settings to have crispy high sound) . resolution is sharp and rich of colours . mmi settings are also smooth , parking button works with camera . maybe ui of aftermarket parking sensors could be better but its okay . overall amazing linux , better then most brand outside aliexpress .

The seller was very polite and answered all my questions. Sent a really large installation kit, all the tools were included. The quality of the packaging is very, very good, nothing was damaged, a very high-quality box. The quality of all the wiring is very good! The wires are thick and insulated with high-quality cloth electrical tape. The instructions include a convenient QR code for a YouTube video showing the installation process in detail. No problems were detected, everything was done clearly according to the instructions. The installation took 2.5 hours. The quality of the plastic cover is very good. No different from the original. I was very surprised by the quality of the screen, 10/10! CarPlay works flawlessly, I haven't tested the Android Auto, but I'm sure everything will be fine too.

The product is good, but the seller has no idea about the product they are selling. He does not know how to solve installation problems and only adds more doubts to the issue.
I found my solution by searching online and there was no help from the seller.

Very fast shipping from germany, the quality is perfectly fine, the installation was okay, the instructions aren't so good.

This time everything fit well and it works wonderfully, although I haven't tried everything yet.

It fits audi a4 b8 with radio symphony head unit.

The device looks good at first glance, but it has some flaws. The built-in microphone does not work as it should, and the display, although clearly visible at night, has a small white halo due to the backlighting, which makes it poor.

Works great with a concert radio.

The videos explain the assembly well. There isn't much space to route additional cables. CarPlay works on its own. For Android Auto, it's more complicated at first; you have to switch to wired then wireless, which is okay but there's no sound. However, by disconnecting the car's Bluetooth search in the system (I don't have Bluetooth), it will search for the phone's Bluetooth and it works. The support is helpful and provides additional videos if needed. I recommend it 👍

I ordered the CarPlay for my Audi A4. It works very well, I'm satisfied. As for the seller's support, I'm a bit disappointed. I asked several times for the update file but didn't receive one. I also contacted RoadTop on their website and asked about the update, but unfortunately there is no support for third-party products.
